Advogado especializado em direito e tecnologia. Alan assessora grandes clientes nacionais e internacionais do setor de tecnologia em questões regulatórias, transacionais e contenciosas.
Sócio fundador do Campos Thomaz Advogados com mais de 15 (quinze) anos de experiência na indústria de tecnologia. Alan trabalhou por mais de 10 (dez) anos no Mattos Filho Advogados, BigLaw brasileira.
Alan é o único advogado de escritório brasileiro com formação superior (mestrado) no Brasil (FGV), na Europa (Tilburg) e nos Estados Unidos (Stanford).
Professor e coautor de diversos livros e artigos sobre direito e tecnologia.
Ao longo da última década, Alan aconselhou BigTechs (incluindo Google, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Telegram, Netfix e outras) a navegar pelos desafios legais dos serviços online, tais como responsabilidade e riscos de produtos e serviços online, responsabilidade de intermediários, regulamentação de mercados digitais, moderação de conteúdo, redes sociais, aplicativos de mensagens, serviços baseados em nuvem, AdTech e publicidade online, e-commerce, eleitoral, serviços de streaming, jogos de azar e apostas esportivas, dados e inteligência artificial, políticas públicas e outros. Experiência em assessorar a empresas de aplicativos de economia compartilhada, FinTechs e inteligência artificial. Entre 2022-2024, Alan assessorou o Telegram em todas as suas questões legais no Brasil, incluindo eleições envolvendo Lula e Bolsonaro.
