Resolution CD/ANPD No. 3/2023 establishes the Digital Governance Committee of Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (CGD/ANPD), tasked with deliberating on digital government initiatives and the use of IT resources within the agency. The Committee’s work must align with the Federal Government’s Digital Strategy and ANPD’s Strategic Planning. Its responsibilities include defining IT guidelines, approving key plans (such as the ICT Master Plan and the Open Data Plan), monitoring implementation, and fostering transparency.
Meeting quarterly and composed of representatives from ANPD’s technical departments, the Committee ensures that IT investments align with institutional goals. It may invite guests and create working groups for technical support. Participation is considered a relevant public service and is not remunerated. This initiative strengthens ANPD’s digital governance framework and institutional coordination. Acess Here.
