backOn August 17, 2023, the ANPD published ORDINANCE CD/ANPD No. 7 (“Ordinance”) approving the Social Communication Policy within the scope of the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
The purpose of the Ordinance is to regulate all ANPD communication actions, mainly by ensuring that they comply with the principles of respect for privacy, freedom of expression, and inviolability of image, among others. It also determines that actions must be guided by ethical standards in the practice of journalism.
The issuance of the ANPD’s Social Communication Policy ensures that the ANPD guarantees greater efficiency and security by bringing data protection knowledge to data subjects.
