The controversy surrounding videos showing the manufacturing process of luxury handbags in the country has reignited a longstanding concern: “Luxury brands have long suffered from counterfeiting,” Juliana stated.

She explains that while many maisons outsource parts of their production, the current scenario poses a new challenge: Chinese manufacturers openly showcasing their capabilities — with serious legal consequences. “The intellectual property landscape is experiencing a significant setback,” she noted.
